Culture and Arts Program

Continuous production of choral, dabke and theatre groups to release their emotions through safe play spaces.
Activating the cultural and artistic movement, discovering, developing and enhancing talents, improving public taste, developing concepts, integrating awareness and education with entertainment and recreation, and consolidating the principles of Palestinian society.

HuDA produced 4 films talking about the reality of life during the war. A choir and two dabkeh bands for girls and boys were produced. A play was performed in 5 displacement camps.

This programme operates through three units:

1. Little Cinematographer Unit

Training displaced children to express their lives during displacement to draw a sensory picture of their lived reality through the production of mobile films that simulate the reality that children live.

2. Dabke and Choral Training unit

Training 60 displaced boys and girls on dabke and choral dancing and producing videos that simulate their lives during displacement.

3. Interactive Theatre unit

Producing plays that tell the reality of life experienced by Palestinian families, and presenting them in shelters in displacement camps.

The Human Development Association, founded in 2001 in Gaza Strip, unites three volunteer committees to support the rural community of Al Qarara. It provides education, guidance, and essential services to children, youth, and women, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip.
